  • fill your blender with ingredients and blend until smooth. Generally, I maintain the basic recipe: i.e., Ripe bananas, strawberries, yogurt, honey, flax seeds and orange juice. I change the fruit depending on availability. I love this with a slice of toasted Ezekiel bread!

  1. Woah. I think that this is a good way to start your day, it has a nice taste, and if you remember the ingredients, you can make it in 5 mins. Awesome breakfast.

  2. Very nice, tasty and healthy way to start my morning. I cut the recipe in half, used 1 banana (next time I will use 1/2), 1/4 cup of yogurt and about 1/4 cup of OJ which was a good consistency for me. Love flax in my smoothies! Thanks for posting!

  3. In need of super energy been running on fumes (in more ways the one) Kids out of school, relatives dropping in on their way to vacation (what's that?) Got up @ 5AM, reduced the recipe to serve 2 (all 4 me) sat on the patio while everyone was in bed and watch the sunrise. Then polished off the rest midmorning when I really need it to make it thru..........Thanks for sharing.

  4. Delicious and filling, a great way to start the day. I loved the combination of fruits and the addition of flax seed. Thanks for sharing your recipe!

  5. I skipped the icecubes as this was going to last for several breakfasts and snacks and I didn’t want to water down the juices, and I subbed kiwi fruit for the pineapple (because I’m not overly fond of pineapple), but I otherwise made this exactly to the recipe, using all fresh fruits (it’s summer here!). A truly delicious combination of fruits and flavours. Just making it was inspirational! Thanks for sharing this scrumptious recipe, which I’ll be making often!

My passions are beautiful sunny days, lazy afternoons with my family, the smell of rain and the way I feel after I go to church. #1 pet peeve: people who drive on the left-hand side of the road (passing lane). Favorite cookbook is THE GREAT AMERICAN FAVORITE BRAND NAME COOKBOOK. It's just one of those books where, every recipe always turns out good!!!
