Oreo Dump

"This is a recipe that my mother used to make for us when we were small. I don't recall where she got the recipe from, but it is very yummy! Hope you enjoy! I don't know if 24 ounces of Oreo's is the correct size, but I do know that it is the largest pack of the Oreo cookies."

• Ingredients: 4
• Yields: 1/2 cup
• Serves: 6-8

ingredients

• 1 (24 ounce) package Oreo cookies (crumbled)
• 1 large Cool Whip
• 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese (cut into little pieces)
• 2 (6 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding

directions

1. Mix pudding as directed on box and add cream cheese.
2. Let sit 10-15 minutes then stir in cool whip.
3. Crumble 1/2 pkg of Oreo cookies and put into bottom of 8x13 pan.
4. Spread all of the pudding mixture on cookies in pan.
5. Then put remaining crumbled Oreo cookies on top and keep cool till ready to serve.
6. Enjoy!

This was great! I fixed it yesterday for our Wednesday night supper at church and it was a hit! I doubled the recipe, couldn't find a 24oz pack of Oreos so I used three of the 18oz packs. I made it in a really big pan and it came back to the kitchen totally cleaned out. I think it might be best if you can make it ahead of time and let it sit in the fridge all day or overnight. And when I make it again - and I will! I'll use more Oreos, even though my son said it was perfect like it was. Thanks for a delicious, easy recipe!
