  • Heat oven to 350*.
  • Grease and flour 15x10x1" pan.(jelly roll pan).
  • In large bowl, combine all bar ingredients and beat at low speed until moistened. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
  • Spread in greased and floured pan.
  • Bake at 350* for 23-27 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Cool 1 hour or until completely cooled. For frosting -- heat butter in medium saucepan over medium heat until light golden brown, stirring constantly.
  • Remove from heat and stir in powderedsguar, vanilla and enough milk for desired spreading consistency; blend until smooth. Immediately spread frosting over cooled bars.
  • Refrigerate 15 minutes or until set. Cut into bars. If desired, garnish with orange peel strips -- .

I love cooking, and reading Christian fiction..I have 5 grandchildren..4 boys and 1 spoiled granddaughter...I also have a black cocker spaniel named Tobey..who is very spoiled..Love computer games, cross stitch and reading cookbooks..I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia almost a year ago, on September 26, 2005....was in an out of the hospital for 8 months, doing intensive chemo...I am doing well now, thanks for all the prayers...
