  • Remove seeds and 1/2 of rind from orange.
  • Grind or chop orange and raisins together.
  • Sift dry ingredients.
  • Cream sugar and butter.
  • Milk can be sweet or sour.
  • Add eggs, milk, orange and raisin mixture.
  • Stir in flour mixture.
  • Bake 350 for 30 minutes in a 9x13 or in layer pans.
  • Add a bit of orange peel to white icing or serve plain with ice cream or whipping cream.
