One Pan Fall Dinner

"The juices from the kielbasa give the potatoes and green beans a flavor everyone loves. Frozen green beans can be substituted for fresh if need be but fresh are best."

  1. Very good and very easy! I actually let me 8 yr old make this, as she asked me if she could make supper. Very flavorful. I did add onions and mushrooms to the mix.

  2. This really hit the spot last night when I wanted something quick and simple. I used veggie Italian style sausage, baby Yukon Gold's and frozen beans. Our local store didn't have any fresh. With the veggie sausage I needed to add salt and pepper but that was all. Very tasty and while I wouldn't serve it at a dinner party it sure fills the bill for a hot and hearty family meal.

  3. Love this. The only addition we make when preparing this is to add one diced vidalia onion for extra flavor!

  4. I picked this for a particuarly busy night in our house, and it didn't disappoint us. It was so quick to prepare, and it was so tasty despite the scant number of ingredients. And I first worried that it would be a little too bland because there are no seasonings or herbs to flavor the main ingredients. But like the intro states, the smoked kielbasa juices flavor the potatoes and green beans quite nicely. I'll definitely make this again; into my "keeper" file it goes! Thanks for sharing your recipe, Debbwl.

  5. Excellent. I did add a small sliced onion and used zucchini instead of the green beans (Personal Preference) I cooked the sausage, onions and potatoes for about 20 minutes then added the sliced zucchini and cooked it for another 7 minutes for a crisp tender result. I also added a little salt and pepper. This will be great with various veggies during the summer. Thanks so much for sharing. Made for PRMR
