- 1 1⁄2 lbs ground beef
- 1 cup cracker crumb
- 3 eggs
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt
- 1 small chopped onion
- 1 (4 ounce) can tomato sauce
- Mix meat, crumbs, onion, eggs and salt.
- Add enough tomato sauce to moisten. Form into a loaf. Put in loaf pan.
- Bake at 250 to 350° for two hours. When loaf is about half done, pour the rest of the tomato sauce over the top. Continue baking until done.
