In a large bowl, cream togther Crisco, margarine, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and peanut butter until smooth. Beat in eggs one at a time until well blended. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir into creamed mixture. Mix in oats until just combined. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets, 2inches apart.

Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until just ligh brown. Don't over bake. Cool and store in airtight container.
These were wonderful! I used crunchy peanut butter because that's all I had and we really enjoyed them. I also used the not-quick oats because that's all I had, and they worked out fine as well. These are really really easy to overbake, so I'm glad that you put that in your method of prep! I think between my husband and I we had about half the batch finished before they had time to cool!! Thanks for sharing!
