- 236.59 ml sugar
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 236.59 ml buttermilk or 236.59 ml milk
- 1.23 ml salt
- 4.92 ml baking soda
- 354.88 ml plus 2 tb flour
- 473.18 ml rhubarb, chopped

Topping
- 118.29 ml brown sugar
- 118.29 ml nuts, chopped
directions
- Grease sides and bottom of 8x8x2 inch pan.
- Mix cake ingredients together and spread into pan.
- Mix sugar and nuts, sprinkle over cake mixture.
- Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes.
