Never Fail Pie Crust

"This recipe is one of my Mom's from many years ago. I don't know where she got it, but she swore by it and so do I. Very flaky (or short as my Dad used to say)"

 1. This recipe is foolproof...I have even substituted non hydrogenated shortening for regular and still comes out perfect. Thankyou for posting it!

I have been living in SC for 18 years now and absolutely love it. I was born and raised in WV where I learned to cook from some of the best cooks I have ever known, my Mom, her Mom, my Aunt Margie, Aunt Charlotte and Great Aunt Blanche. The men in the family often said they were blessed with the best cooks. I am trying to keep the family tradition going. I love to cook and of course eat too. I have many cookbooks, some very old and formerly used by some of the ladies above. Right now I am having a lot of fun with Tyler's Ultimate cookbook especially since I got to meet Tyler Florence and have him sign it for me :)
