My Pecan Pie

A very easy to make pecan pie. To add to this serve with vanilla icecream or fresh whipped cream.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 2 eggs
  • 12 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 cup Dark Karo syrup or 1 cup light Karo syrup
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 23 cup pecans
  • 1 unbaked pie shell (do not use a deep pie crust)

Directions

  1. beat eggs well.
  2. mix sugar, starch and salt.
  3. add beaten eggs.
  4. stir in syrup.
  5. stir in pecans.
  6. pour into unbaked pie shell.
  7. bake at 350 degrees for approximately 40 minutes.
  8. pie will be soupy when hot but will congeal as it cools.
