- 2 lbs hamburger
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 (46 ounce) can tomato juice
- 2 (15 1/2 ounce) cans red kidney beans
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can chopped tomatoes
- chilli seasoning
- saltine crackers
- salt and pepper
directions
- Fry and drain hamburger, onion, salt and pepper.
- Put all the ingredients in a large pot and add chilli seasoning to taste. Let simmer for about 30-45 min and finish with crackers or shredded cheese and sour cream.

A very easy to prepare recipe, yes, & tasty enough as is, also! I did make it for just the 2 of us & then froze half of it for another time! I used about 2 teaspoons of chili powder & another time might add yet another can of kidney beans!
