ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup catsup
- 1⁄2 cup water
- 1⁄2 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- 6 sandwich buns
directions
- Brown beef in skillet.
- Drain grease.
- Combine remaining ingredients and pour over beef.
- Mix well.
- Simmer slowly for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Serve on your choice of rolls. (I like onion or potato rolls with this).

This was really good and quick to make. I usually use tomato sauce to make sloppy joes, but if I want to make it last minute and don't have any I have to make something else...I like that this uses ketchup, we ALWAYS have that!! Was not too tangy with the ingredients and the hot sauce added a nice bite, but not too spicy! Made for Spring PAC 2010.
