directions

 • Heat the oven to 350 degrees F.
 • To make crust, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar and butter. Press down into the bottom of a pie pan to form a crust and bake for about 8 minutes.
 • In the top of a double boiler, melt together candy bars, peanut butter, and half-and-half, stirring until smooth.
 • Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
 • Fold in whipped topping, pour into crust, and freeze for 4 to 6 hours before serving. (For a richer pie, substitute 2 cups heavy cream, whipped with 1/2 cup sugar until stiff peaks form, in place of prepared whipped topping.).
 • When ready to serve, top with additional whipped topping and drizzle wth chocolate syrup. Store in refrigerator.

 1. I am going to have to make this for the sheer nostalgia - when we were little, my sister & I named a little palomino filly we bottlefed - Flicker. She lived 33 years - will make & think of her - will update after making.

Aloha! I just recently started spending more time in the kitchen and am learning that cooking and baking can be fun as well as challenging. My favorite cookbook resources are my 'gourmet' sister and the very patient and generous Ohana of Zaar. Mahalo nui loa!

My rating system: The first time I try a recipe, I follow the instructions as given; if I do a little tweaking, I keep that in mind when rating. It's not right to rate lower because of something I did or didn't do.
***** ... Excellent! Tasted great with/without tweaking.
**** ... Loved It! Tasted great with/without tweaking.
No stars ... May be an excellent recipe but I was unable to get it to work for me. May or may not try again later. We don't all have the same taste preferences. I've found recipes with lots of five stars that just didn't work for me and some with less that I thought were great.
Thank you All for sharing!
