- 4 tablespoons butter
- 8 ounces heavy cream
- 6 ounces parmesan cheese, shredded
- 1⁄4 teaspoon sea salt
- 16 ounces prepared pasta
directions
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- As soon as the butter is melted, add the heavy cream and salt, and stir to mix.
- Continue to heat until steam is rising, but not until boiling.
- Add the parmesan cheese, and whisk until the cheese begins to melt. Remove from heat and toss with prepared noodles immediately, until cheese is melted.
- Serve! Feel free to toss in sautéed mushrooms, grilled chicken, etc.
