I'm a singe guy...so I cut the recipe in half. I replaced american cheese with munster cheese. Instead of half and half I use what I call strong milk (which is a powdered milk mixture that I make, that is double powdered milk half the water).I also replaced the crackers with seasoned bread crumbs. As always I enjoy a glass of melot...

Directions

  1. Alternate first 3 ingredients in layers in a 2 quart casserole.
  2. Then blend flour and half & half; pour over mixture in casserole.
  3. Pour melted butter over casserole.
  4. Crumble crackers and sprinkle on top of casserole.
  5. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
