Mrs Stow's Impossible Pie

Total Time
Prep 3 mins
Cook 50 mins

This is my first host mom's recipe. I remember she made this quite often. The first time I made this, it came up wrong and it was impossible to eat, so I tried the other day and it succeeded! Now I understand why it is called impossible pie. You have to make this if you are curious to know why it's called impossible pie!

  1. preheat oven to 190°C.
  2. Combine all the ingredients well in the bowl.
  3. Pour into deep baking dish and bake them for 45 - 50 minutes or until top turns to golden colour.

Tomoko, this didn't really work for me. I can see what the impossible part must be in that it separates into three layers but there was a pool of butter which made the bottom really soggy. It was also very eggy which might be because I only had large eggs. I was reluctant to reduce the amount as I was doing it for the first time. I would love to try this again but I think I need to reduce the butter and the amount of eggs.
