ingredients
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon curry powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon coriander
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cumin
- 1⁄2 teaspoon paprika
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄4 cup olive oil
- salt & pepper
directions
- Mix ingredients in a bowl and brush onto salmon.
- Let salmon stand in marinade for a few minutes or place in refrigerator for a couple of hours.
- Keep some aside for use during cooking.

this had a nice subtle flavor. i doubled the spices to the amount of olive oil. since the recipe says one serving, i wasn't sure how much salmon it was intended for. i found that i used about half of it to grill a 1 pound-ish filet. i will save the rest to try on another type of fish, and perhaps add some cayenne as well. this is good for a really nice piece of fish, as the spices don't overwhelm the other flavors. we had this with recipe #67242.
