- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 onion, grated
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 3 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 (48 ounce) can tomato juice
- 1 (15 1/2 ounce) can red kidney beans (undrained)
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes
directions
- Mix first 7 ingredients together and cook until meat is brown.
- Pour off excess grease.
- Add remaining ingredients and simmer 30 to 60 minutes.
