ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 12 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons diced onions
  • 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • 14 teaspoon dried chipotle powder (recommend mrs dash southwest chipolte seasoning)
  • 0.5 (39 g) packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 12 teaspoon pepper
  • 34 cup milk
  • 1 -2 piece bread, torn into small pieces
  • 13 cup ketchup
  • 13 cup barbecue sauce (recommend famous dave's)
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar

directions

  • Mix ground beef with all ingredients except last 3.
  • Shape into a loaf and place in bread pan.
  • Mix ketchup, barbecue sauce and brown sugar. Spread over top of meatloaf.
  • Bake uncovered in preheated 350 degree oven for about 1 hour.

He's a good sport with my recipe experiments. Most of the time he likes what I make. I can always tell 'cause if he doesn't like it he won't go for seconds which he almost always does.</span></p> <p><span style=color: #993366;>I have 2 stepsons that are all grown up. One is in college &amp; the other is in the Army. I'm very proud of both of them. I love to bake but don't do it much anymore since there's only 2 of us.</span></p> <p><span style=color: #993366;>I'm trying to cook a little more healthy. That can really be a challenge. I love the recipes on this site. So many ideas! The one thing I really don't like to do though is use low or no fat stuff. Most of it is just yucky!!<br /></span></p>
