  1. I have not made this recipe. However, in my book, suet is meat. Won't it spoil if it's mixed in this recipe, uncooked, and stored in a jar in the fridge until you want to use it? Sounds like a recipe for food poisoning. Otherwise, the fruit and spices look very tasty and would probably be good on their own, without the suet.
