My mom's microwave corn on the cob recipe.
- Place 6 ears of corn and water in microwavable bowl. Cover with plastic wrap. Cook on high for 13-14 1/2 minutes. Stand for 5 minutes.
it really works!
I did 4 ears of corn for about 8 minutes. I was done enough to eat but it could have handled another 3 minutes or so but we were impatient. I really appreciate the method because we had hungry kids requesting corn on the cob at the last minute.
I cooked 4 ears in a 9x9 pan because it fits so nice. Used the amount of water specified but cooked for 5 minutes on high and let set for 5. My microwave is 1100 watts and this was plenty of time, I think 14 would be too long.
