- 14.79 ml butter
- 29.58 ml brown sugar
- 14.79 ml oatmeal
- 29.58 ml cornstarch
- 0.61 ml cinnamon
- 4.92 ml orange peel, dried
- 44.37 ml walnuts, chopped
- 1 medium apple, peeled and chopped
- whipped topping or ice cream (to garnish)
directions
- Place butter in small microwavable dish and melt.
- Add brown sugar and mix well.
- Add oats, orange peel, cinnamon and walnut and mix well again.
- Peel and chop apple.
- Mix with cornstarch to coat apples.
- Place topping on top of apple.
- Stick bowl in microwave and cook on high 2 1/2 minutes until apples are tender.
- Garnish with whipped topping or ice cream.

I used to collect cookbooks, but I've given away all but my most cherished ones which belonged to my Grandma. I shop at an Amish community for my dry goods as much as possible.
