My two guys are chocoholics so I did add in the mini chocolate chips. I also used pecans in place of the walnuts. These are great chocolate cookies!! Slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside - perfect. Instead of chocolate frosting, I melted some white chocolate morsels. Poured it into a zip-lock bag and snipped off one corner. Then I squeezed the melted white chocolate onto the cooled cookies in a zig-zag shape forming a Christmas tree.
