Matrimony Bars

"These bars were baked for our family when I was growing up. I found the original recipe while looking through one of my local church cookbooks. The bars are a real treat and I think I love them so much because of the oatmeal and raisins!"

I'm a stay-at-home mom with three beautiful boys who keep my husband and I very busy! I've been married to my high school sweetheart for 20 years now. I love to cook, collect cookbooks, and try out new recipes. I've been collecting cookbooks since high school and I now have close to 400 of them. Believe it or not, I'm always on the lookout for more! It's so addicting! I also enjoy shopping, riding quads, fishing, reading, attending my sons sporting events, and of course taking an occasional trip to Morro Bay, Pismo, and Bass Lake, CA.
