This is a new topping that I now use on my Chocolate Cream Pie My Favorite Double Chocolate Pie. It is fluffy and just the right compliment to this wonderful, tasty pie. It makes alot and you may want to make only half of a recipe. Me, I prefer to have it all on my pie...it is so beautiful piled high!!
- Whip all ingredients together until fluffy and stiff. Top pie, refrigerate at least two hours before cutting.
I was so excited to try this because I love mascarpone cheese. I added coconut extract to this and actually used it as a frosting for coconut cupcakes. Let me tell you! They are so good they make your toes curl with every bite. I was so happy that end product of this came out really thick and stable, just like frosting, but was so light and fluffy in your mouth. Oh so good! I can't imagine this being bad on anything. This is the only way I will make whipped cream from now on. Thank you so much for the great recipe.
