  1. Mix together flour, soda, baking powder and salt and set aside.
  2. In a smaller bowl combine and blend remaining ingredients, except nuts.
  3. Stir in liquid ingredients into dry.
  4. Fold in nuts.
  5. Spread batter in a loaf pan.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees F for 40-45 minutes.

Made this as muffins today - added a handful of sultanas but otherwise made no other changes and they are great !
