This recipe is delicious without being laden down with lots of oil. You wouldn't know that it was "low fat" This counts for 3 points per 1/4 cup serving
- 19 ounces chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1⁄4 cup light sour cream
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons garlic
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1⁄2 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon sugar
- Place all ingredients in food processor and whirl until smooth.
- Serve with freshly made pita chips or veggies for dunking.
Love this recipe! I also will add jarred red bell peppers as well for a roasted rep pepper hummus!
