  • Put cup of brown sugar in water and microwave until melted.
  • Meanwhile, mix oats and nuts.
  • Pour brown sugar/water mixture over oat and nut mixture and stir.
  • Bake at 250 degrees until toasted.
  • Break up and add dried fruit if desired.
  • Store in air-tight container.
