- 8 cups oats
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄4 cup water
- 1 cup sliced almonds
- 1⁄4 cup pecans
directions
- Put cup of brown sugar in water and microwave until melted.
- Meanwhile, mix oats and nuts.
- Pour brown sugar/water mixture over oat and nut mixture and stir.
- Bake at 250 degrees until toasted.
- Break up and add dried fruit if desired.
- Store in air-tight container.
