"The classic...with a Twist"

ingredients

• 2 (8 count) cans Pillsbury Grands refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
• 32 ounces fully cooked snack-size smoked sausage
• 1⁄2 cup Dijon mustard or 1/2 cup brown mustard, if preferred
• 4 -6 ounces gruyere cheese, grated

directions

1. Grease baking sheet and line with parchment paper; Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Cut each biscuit into 4 equal pieces.
3. Roll out each piece until fairly thin and easy to handle.
4. Spread Mustard thinly on biscuit pieces.
5. Sprinkle 2 pinches of cheese over mustard.
6. Place Sausages onto biscuits crosswise.
7. Roll biscuits to enclose sausages with ends sticking out slightly.
8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and slightly crisped.
9. Enjoy as is, or serve with ketchup, ranch dressing or similar.
