Lightly Glazed Carrots

I make these when I make turkey dinners for Thanksgiving and Christmas. They are glazed but not overly so that they still mix well with all the other fixings that go along with turkey, gravy, potatoes, stuffing, etc...

I make these all the time as a simple everyday-dinner sidedish, my daughter loves them! Just fantastic :D Sometimes I substitute some honey for the sugar as well, tastes just as lovely.

  1. Boil or steam carrots in lightly salted water until tender, about 10 minutes.
  2. Drain and return carrots to pot.
  3. Add butter and brown sugar, stirring over medium heat for about 2 minutes, until "glazed".
  4. Serve.
