Classic dip to serve with Fritos. I usually double as it is always a hit. Guessed on serving size.
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 7 ounces canned clams, drained and chopped (reserve juice)
- 1⁄4 cup clam juice
- Combine all ingredients and blend until smooth.
I just felt this was a little light on the clam taste. I will add another can of minced clams drained, but this was still very tasty. Thanks.
Love the simplicity of this dip. Made it for a quick munchie with veggies when friends popped in. We all enjoyed it.
Fabulous dip that reinforced my reputation at work as the Queen of Dips. No one could pick the secret ingredient -- clams -- and only a few guessed seafood. My can of clams weighed 10 ounces (290 grams). This was so easy to make -- just tossed everything in the food processor and buzzed it for about a minute. Yummo!
