I came across this on the net while browsing. A quick and easy one bowl dessert, especially great for moms who work, or for those young, up and coming chefs in your family.
- Put all ingredients into one bowl and mix with a hand mixer until blended good.
- The batter will be thick. Put into 9x13 pan and bake at 350° for 18-25 minutes.
These were excellent. I used pecans and added 1/4 cup of butterscotch chips. I made them in half batches because my big pan was dirty. =P They still came out super soft and chewy. Don't grease the pan too much or they will be too greasy. If you use spray, spray and blot with a paper towel to remove excess.
It turned out gr8 will make them again. They r chewy indeed:)
I searched for a simple brownie recipe today using Bisquick and came across this one. I am very happy with the results. I did alter the recipe a bit to suit my taste tonight though... I only had 1 tsp of vanilla to use... 1 stick of butter is all I had... so I added 2 extra tblsp. of water... mixed sugar, water, eggs together first in a bowl and mixed bisquick and the Hersey powder together in a seperate bowl, then added it to the eggs mixture... then added the melted butter and stirred with a spoon... used an 8x8 glass pan... made 2 layers (1/2 of the batter on the bottom, than added 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips... next added 1/4 cup of peanut butter to the remaining batter and then spreaded it on top of the chips. Baked for 22 minutes... checked and decided to bake another 10 minutes. (baked in the center of the oven too). I am happy with the results... they are more cake like but I like them this way too. Would make them again.
