- 2 lbs extra lean ground beef
- 3 (284 ml) cans whole mushrooms
- 2 (14 ounce) cans pork and beans in tomato sauce
- 1 (28 ounce) can red kidney beans
- 2 (19 ounce) cans diced tomatoes, chili style
- 2 (1 1/4 ounce) packages chili seasoning mix
- 1 (5 1/2 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 (680 ml) can tomato sauce
- 2 -3 tablespoons cumin
- 1 teaspoon cayenne
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
directions
- Brown ground beef, onions and garlic in skillet. Drain Kidney Beans and Mushrooms. Mix all ingredients into slow cooker and cook on high 3-4 hours or on low 6-8 hours.

This year I turn 25 and I am happier then ever. I decided January 2008 to take charge of my life and I've been working on it ever since. On July 24th 2008 I had gastric bypass surgery to help me control my weight and I have lost a total of 160lbs! My Mom, Dad and Aunt also had the surgery, all within 6 weeks and we've been a great support to each other. I am now working on a cook book that I am looking to publish to help others achieve there weight loss goals and to help out with bariatric weight loss! Wish me luck!
