  • Peel the carrots and peel them very thin.
  • In a saucepan, melt the butter and mix in the sugar.
  • Add the carrots and blend well.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Steam over low heat just until tender, about 7-8 minutes.
  • Place in bowl and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
  • Serve.
