  • 1.Combine corn syrup, water and sugar in a saucepan.
  • 2.Boil until a little tried in cold water is brittle, or measures 300 degrees F.
  • 3.Beat egg whites.
  • until stiff and gradually beat in the boiling syrup.
  • 4.Whip until it begins to stiffen, beat more and pour into a pan slightly oiled with corn oil.
  • 5.When cold cut in squares.
