A nice way to use up extra berries in the summer.
- 1⁄2 cup butter or 1⁄2 cup margarine, melted
- 3⁄4 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3⁄4 cup sugar
- 3⁄4 cup milk
- 4 cups blackberries (or raspberries)
- Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
- Place butter in 2qt casserole dish.
- In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar& milk; pour over butter in casserole dish- do not stir.
- Top with berries.
- Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes- crust will form on top.
