Honey Poppy Vinaigrette

• Yields: 1 cup

ingredients

• 2⁄3 cup olive oil
• 1⁄4 cup honey
• 4 teaspoons red wine vinegar
• 1 1⁄2 teaspoons lemon juice
• 1 teaspoon prepared dijon-style mustard
• 1 teaspoon poppy seed
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 dash cayenne pepper
• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
• 1⁄8 teaspoon pepper

directions

1. Whisk all ingredients together until well-blended.

This is a very good salad dressing recipe. I don't like Italian dressing, but this recipe has enough sweet taste to make me want to make this again and again. It's also a plus that I normally have all the ingredients for this recipe on hand. Thanks for sharing, Michelle. Made for PAC Spring, 2008.
