This makes a very "unique, home made" Hostess gift. Let them guess what these "Capers" are made from.

Directions

  1. Make a syrup of vinegar and sugar.
  2. Boil three (3) minutes.
  3. Pick Nasturtium seeds when green.
  4. Wash thoroughly.
  5. Pack loosely in hot sterilized "1/4-pint" jars.
  6. Fill jars with boiling syrup.
  7. Seal at once.
  8. Let stand for ONE month before using.
