- 4 cups quick oats
- 1 cup sliced almonds (optional)
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄8 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄3 cup vegetable oil
- 1⁄4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 4 teaspoons vanilla
directions
- Preheat your oven to 300.
- Spray a large cookie sheet with cooking spray.
- Mix oats, nuts, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Combine honey, oil, and sugar in small saucepan over medium heat until heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
- Pour over oat mixture, stir well.
- Spread onto sheet and bake 30 mins or until golden. Stir occasionally, every 5 mins or so, to avoid burn spots.
- Let cool for 15-20 mins and break up. Store in an airtight container.
