  1. Reviewed for Sept 2010 Aus/NZ Forum Recipe Swap - a nice slow cooked dinner that all the family enjoyed. Quite sweet and my youngest liked the pineapple. Just personal preference....I'd like to have some more veges....maybe some onion and carrot or serve some steamed veges on the side. Or perhaps some fresh herbs -parsley maybe- chopped finely and stirred in before serving. A good easy slow-cooker recipe. 4 hours to cook for me on High. Photo also to be posted

  2. Nice slow cooker recipe. I made a couple minor adjustments - one being I skipped the green pepper as I did not have any here, used a mixture of crushed & chunk pineapple (all I had on hand) and used the juice from the pineapple in place of the water. The chicken is supremely tender and the whole dish was done in 4 hours on HIGH. I topped with some mandarin oranges for some fun. We all think it just needs a bit more oomph - like a bit more garlic and/or pepper and the addition of a veggie would be great (I'm thinking carrots would taste yummy). Overall it was a hit with the family and I know I'll fall back to this recipe again and soon! Made for Everyday is a Holiday Tag Game.
