  1. Bring water to a boil in saucepan.
  2. Dissolve sugar in boiling water.
  3. Stir in rum and lemon juice.
  4. Carefully pour drink into heatproof glasses or mugs containing 1 cinnamon stick each.
  5. Serve hot.
