This is perfect bread for the grill. The olive oil makes it crisp on the outside and there is no need for garlic due to the sweetness of the bread.
- 1⁄2 cup olive oil
- 1 loaf king's Hawaiian bread (cut into 1/2-inch thick slices) or 1 loaf king's honey-wheat bread (cut into 1/2-inch thick slices)
- Preheat grill to medium heat.
- Brush olive oil generously onto both sides of bread slices.
- Grill 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown on both sides.
- Cut slices in half.
- Serve warm.
