If your going to grill why not try this simple and quick recipe.
- Coat asparagus with oil.
- Grill about 3 minutes.
- Season and serve.
Wonderful simple instructions! We put some oil and salt in a bag and shook. To keep the asparagus from fallying through the grates, we just laid down a sheet of aluminum foil under them. Cooking time was about 8 minutes on medium on the gas grill.
I heated some balsamic vinegar with a little sea salt and drizzeled over the asparagus after grilling.
We used one of the foil pans with holes in the bottom made for grilling veggis. And I added a sprinkle of garlic powder. It was incredible. My two year old who won't normally touch veggis inhaled them. DH, DS and I ate two pounds and wished we'd made more. This will be our go to asparagus recipe.
