Awesome salad! I had to bring a salad for a potluck, and this salad was perfect. Very simple and easy to make, yet compliments almost anything. I made my own dressing, however, as I already had some prepared that I needed to use up. I plan to make this again with this dressing recipe, though. Fantastic recipe!

I love tomatoes and avocados and was very anxious to try this salad. Adding cheese and baby greens just seemed like a perfect mix. However, I couldn't seem to enjoy the flavor of the dressing. I prepared it first as directed with the red wine vinegar. I didn't care for it at all when sampling prior to mixing with the greens. Then I followed the same recipe using white wine balsamic vinegar and just a touch of sugar. It was better, but still not great. I am wondering if the marjoram and dried oregano were too pungent for the mix. This had the makings for a great salad. I am sorry that the dressing just didn't suit my tastes.
