On a recent trip back to Albuquerque I fell in love with this green chilie dip I found at the grocery store. They, of course, dont sell this dip where I live in California, so I decided to try to find a recipe so I could make it at home
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1⁄2 cup diced green chilis, roasted and peeled
- 1 jalapeno pepper, small dice
- 1⁄4 onion, small dice
- Mix all ingredients together and chill. Serve with tortilla chips.
- ***Note, you may want to add the jalepeno a little at a time and test for heat level before you add the entire pepper***.
