Great Pie Crust

"I tried this out today and it worked great. Nice light and tasty. I got 4 covered pies out of this mix."

• Ingredients: 6
• Yields: 4 covered pies

ingredients

• 5 cups flour
• 1 lb lard
• 2 tablespoons sugar
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 3⁄4 - 1 cup milk

directions

1. Sift dry ingredients together and then mix in lard in chunks, using a fork or hand pastry blender.
2. Add milk.
3. Continue working with fork until just blended.
4. Roll out and fill pie plates as needed.
