- 118.29 ml canola oil or 118.29 ml melted butter
- 118.29 ml honey (or 1/2 cup half maple syrup and half honey)
- 59.14 ml brown sugar
- 4.92-9.85 ml vanilla
- 473.18 ml granola cereal
- 473.18 ml mini marshmallows
- 118.29 ml shredded sweetened coconut
- 118.29 ml chopped dates
- 59.14 ml dried cranberries or 59.14 ml cherries
- 78.78 ml raisins
- 1.23-2.46 ml cinnamon
- 1.23 ml salt
- 44.37 ml all-purpose flour
- 473.18 ml Rice Krispies
- 14.79 ml sesame seeds
- 157.80 ml coarsley chopped pecans or 157.80 ml almonds
directions
- Set oven to 350 degrees.
- Set oven rack to bottom-lowest position.
- Line a 9 x 9-inch pan with parchment paper (leave some overhang).
- In a large bowl, stir together the oil or melted butter (if using), honey and/or maple syrup and vanilla.
- Blend in granola, marshmallows, coconut, dates, raisins, cinnamon, cherries OR cranberries, salt, flour, rice crispies cereal, sesame seeds and pecans (if mixture does not hold together in a somewhat weird sticky way, stir in a bit more oil and one egg).
- Spoon into prepared pan, and place the pan on a baking sheet.
- Bake on lowest oven rack for 18-22 minutes, or until it seems set.
- Refrigerate for about an hour before cutting into squares.
