ingredients

2 cups butter
2 cups sugar
4 beaten eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
6 teaspoons baking powder
5 ¹⁄₂ cups flour
1 teaspoon salt

directions

Cream together butter and sugar.
Mix eggs and vanilla, then add to butter mixture.
Mix together remaining ingredients, then add to mixture.
Roll out dough and cut shapes.
Bake at 400°F for 8-10 minutes.
