Eating pancakes is usually not about eating healthily, but these pancakes are high-fibre and still taste delicious!

  1. Combine first 8 ingredients in large bowl; add remaining ingredients and whisk until mixture is blended but small lumps remain; stir in 1 cup apple sauce.
  2. Preheat oven to 250F; melt ½ tblsp butter in large skillet over medium-low heat; pour batter by 1/3 cupfuls into skillet.
  3. Cook pancakes until bottoms are golden-brown and bubbles form on top, about 2 minutes; turn pancakes over; cook until bottoms are golden-brown, about 2 minutes; transfer to baking sheet as they are done to keep warm.
  4. Repeat, using more butter as necessary.

These are yummy pancakes. My kids gobbled them up and wanted more. A great combination of flavors. Made for ZWT4 for the Tastebud Tickling Travellers.

Very yummy pancakes with a great list of ingredients. I really enjoyed the texture and flavour of these. I used all whole wheat flour. These are even great made the night before, stored in the fridge, then heated in the microwave in the morning. Thanks for a great pancake! Reviewed during ZWT 4.

These were wonderful! My boys and I didn't even have to top them with anything. The apple taste came though and I will make these again soon. Made for ZWT4.
