This was a nice treat. I added some skim milk because it wasn't blending very well and added the chocolate chips and pulsed a few times to chop them too. I found this to be much better right out of the blender rather than refreezing it. All in all this a very healthy little treat :)

Good for you and just darn good too...so versatile!!!...it can take on any flavors that you like... let you imagination roam and allow your creative juices to pour any flavor you like in :) my latest obsessions are mixing in either a cashew butter cream or a cocoa-strawberry sorbet(ish) mix...I've been doing date chips, and adding cinnamon and agave too...(have to admit that I've been running it through the juicer more than the processor lately; but the processor still comes in handy when I do a tofu base mixed with 'nana)...this recipe has been like a nicotine patch to my ice cream addition as I've moved more toward vegan;) ...I can not say enough good things about it:)...Thanks for the recipe share Perfect Pixie...mmmm,mmmmmGOOD!! A fav. for my honey and me- 10 stars!!!

I make this pretty often when I have bananas in the freezer. I blend them in a little food processor (only fits 2 bananas) with 2-3 tablespoons of water. It was good with chocolate chips! We also like it with honey and cinnamon! Reviewed for Healthy Choices ABC tag.
